![]() Luckily, neither occurred and the gold flakes weren’t a concern. I quickly realized that should I be gold and glittery I would just look like a bad extra for a Twilight film. Admittedly, it made me think of the old stories of Incan Kings or priests decorating themselves with gold dust and then diving into sacred lakes. This YSL Primer retails for $52.Īnd I had no desire to go around with gold flakes coating my face. Oddly the gold flakes were also what made me cautions about buying it. It also made me want it, even just to look at. There is just something about gold flakes suspended in a clear medium that just looks amazing. The links will take you to the site and well lit photos of the full sized bottle so you can see it in all it’s glory if you like. Have you seen the full bottle? I know I have the small sample size pictured here and it really doesn’t do it justice. It is easy to see why they would want to review it. I don’t know if the reviews came out around the product’s release or if it there was a domino effect of reviews and once one person reviewed it everyone decided they had to as well. It was featured on makeup reviews and collections, people reviewed and raved about it. A while back this particular primer seemed to be the darling of everyone. I think everyone and their neighbor knows by this point that I love primers. I then do mascara and that’s really all that I do.In the April Macy’s Beauty box there was a sample of the Yves Saint Laurent Touch Eclat Blur primer.Sometimes I would do a little bit of eye shadow under my eyes to get more definition but that’s really rare.I LOVE blush!! Now, I used Primers before but nothing like this, I swear!! First Impressions of Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Blur Primer The one thing that made a huge difference for me is definitely this posh Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Blur Primer. I have to say I upgraded some things but my makeup remains minimal. But over the years I actually created my own makeup routine that works for me and I feel the most beautiful with. I always felt extremely uncomfortable wearing too much makeup and wigs install, I don’t know maybe it’s the fact that I’m a redhead and wearing strong makeup on pale skin never was something I was into. I had two roommates when doing a master’s degree, twins actually and they were super into makeup and that’s when my desire to learn more really kicked off. ![]() Even when I attended University I always wore just a mascara, nothing much.
